I prayed, fasted, cried, and waited. Nothing changed — in fact, I gained weight. Raised in a Christian household, I believed patience and faith would bring transformation. But that waiting often led to frustration. I struggled with a deep sense of unworthiness, wondering if this was a trial I was meant to simply endure.
